Accident on the road

Sir I am a lady mother of one 3 year old girl child and I am the accused in a case of accident.After the accident i stopped and took the victim to the hospital and admitted him.The victim falled in rear wheels of my jeep.THe victim is Ok Now.He got some factures and is a senior citizen.The case is already heard before the court.My Lawyer is confused whether I will be convicted or released.What in this case can I do or my lawyer do.
I am innocent as i dont know some how the man falled in my rear wheels. As it was rainy days when the accident took place.
My lawyer said I could be convicted for 15days jail and fine.But I dont want to go to jail.Fine will do at least.What can I do......?
Please Help......

Normally in Such Cases there Could be Only Fine.Better Seek the Help of Senior Good Advocate with out Up Setting your Present One.

Sir what are the chances of going to jail if convicted...?

The case is already heard before a court....HOw would a senior advocate of any help...?

Once again the Punishment would be only Fine in such cases.As advised and Predicted by your Present advocate if at all things go out of way you could have a Senior Advocate for your safety for Obtaining a Bail Or Anticipatory Bail in High Court depending on the Situation and requirements If at all Required.

Your lawyer must have brought all facts before the court.

He should prey the court to have lenient view in view of the circumstances.
