Hi,
Just want to ask whether a void marriage has any repercussions for girls ?
1. Like can the opposite party file any cheating case at a later stage bcz the girl here was previously married but later divorced and the second person knew everything.
2. And is a void decree is good enough to get his name out of her passport and other documents.
3. Whts the time frame to get a void decree.

Hi, The facts are as under :
1. My friend got married to a man in 2010 and after few days they started living separately.
2. In between the family of the girl found new match for her and got her married with all hindu rituals in 2012 while the case for divorce was on with first person. And this person and his family was aware of facts.
3. She got mutually divorce in 2013 from first marriage.
4. She also got the name of her second husband on her passport in 2012 only.
5. Later in 2015 this guy also ditched her for his own reasons and filed a cheating case on her.
6. Now he wants to get divroce or nullification done.
7. Girls family also ready for same bcz there is no point in fighting.
I hope it is clear now.
Please Suggest on my queries now.

A Second marriage with out Legal Divorce from First Marriage Or during the time of Divorce Case Pending Will Not be Legally Valid.There is No Need for Legal Divorce from a Marriage which is Not Legally Valid.

First Surrender the Pass Port and apply for fresh after 3 or 6 months time.

She should try for amicable settlement with the second husband.
Discuss in detail with local lawyer after showing all the documents.
