Regarding old claims.

(Querist) 27 August 2016 This query is : Resolved
One of my known is an employee of Government of Rajasthan and he applied for Encashment of Privilege Leave three times in three years (one may surrender 15 days for encashment every year as per Rajasthan Service Rules} but due to mala fides the Head of Department sat on the applications and did not provide the same. Now
The HOD has changed, Can he ask for said claims again ????
Meanwhile his accumulated Privilege Leaves more then 300 days were lapsed as per rules because his above claims for Leave Encashment of 45 days did not considered by Head of Department concerned during his tenure.

Please advise.

Yes is the sole reply to your query. As the matter is still pending hence the new incumbent shall definitely have to perform his duty by clearing the long pending file as per law and procedure.

What is the type of this leave, as stated "privileged leave" which can be encashed within the year as per Rajasthan Service Rules?
Why did the HOD sit on the encashment application and why your "one of your known" government servant sit idle for 3 years, if the rule provide?
