Refer to the job contract and the Bond, if any.

What are the terms & conditions of your appointment, show the document to local lawyer.
If you left the job without informing the employer, deposit the amount and be free.
Kumar Doab (Expert) 01 September 2014
You have joined in March and left in March itself.

You have not submitted any information e.g. Notice of resignation/resignation with immediate effect.

If you have submitted resignation by normal post you may submit the copy again.

The demand made by M/s TCS pertains to what: Notice Pay or Liquidated damages in some Bond, or company has claimed some loss due to uninformed absence/abscondment/abstainment……………………….?

You were in which state? Your reporting office was in which state? The Redg. office of the company is in which state?

How many people are employed in it?

What was your designation and nature of duties?

You were appointed on rolls of M/s TCS (Tata Consultancy Services, or some third party) and if yes did the company issue any offer letter and thereafter appointment letter also to you?

The BOND was place before you to sign before the issuance of appointment letter or the appointment letter was issued after you signed the BOND?

Do you have copy of the BOND?

Is notice period/pay is mentioned in it: if yes what is the notice period/pay for employer and also for employee:::::: Is it equal?

Did you sign any BOND and if yes do you have a copy of it?

What is the reason for having left: pressure, rudeness at workplace etc and did you take up the matter with line management, HR personnel in office?

Reply pointwise to each point.

You may succeed to claim the wages for the period you have worked.

The company may have its legal cell and the issue may be transferred to it soon.

The company may chase you and issue a legal notice and may even approach court of law.
Hence it shall be better to prepare your defense now and seek the counsel of an able labor Consultant/Service lawyer.

In your first post you have stated that: "quit in march ending with out informing"

In your latest post you have stated that;

"i have given resignation letter on 9th April 2012 by mail ..."

Both are contradicting.
