Accused person should be petitioner and the de facto complainant shall appear and file supporting affidavit about the compromise.

If you have compromised with the complainant you can produce the same to the police.
Based on this the police will close the case.

Consent of Court is required for closing the case since it had been already filed and pending in Court.Police can not do any thing now since it should be only Court's Decision Now.Do Not be Misguided and act as Per the Experts Mr.Barman and Dr.J.C.Vasishta.

It is better you contact and engage a local lawyer for doing the needful, do not do anything on your own based on outsiders advice, who may not know law but will misguide you with half known things. The lawyer will be able to guide you through.
