Arbitrator's award can be set aside by moving an application to set aside exparte decree/award under Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996 and the relevant rules thereunder.
Kerala High Court
Mr.P.M.A.Shukkoor vs Muthoot Vehicle & Asset Finance ... on 10 August, 2010arbitator has power to set aside his his exparte order or decree under relevant rules.
In the above decision Kerala Highcourt held that arbitrator has power to set aside exparte decree or award proceedings under the relevant rules.
