Despite gratuity amendment act 2009,many educational institutions are not paying gratuity to the retired teachers.weather any high court or supreme court has given judgement in this behalf after this amendment act.?

Dear Experts,

Is the Private School Teachers are eligible for GRATUITY under Payment of Gratuity Act ? If so kindly supply the Gazette Notification.

You can download everything from the referred thread.

The eligibility is from retrospective effect i.e.1997.

No need for any citation as the Act is the statue and section ;2(e) has been inserted in it.
