Reconciliatory Proceedings at the police station

 My friend's Wife is opting for divorce from him & approached women's cell with a complaint.My friend was called there & the investigating officer talked with both of them & tried to reconcile.

My friend wrote in the application that he is ready to accept his wife back but wont go for divorce.The officer has given another date to appear at the police station.Kindly advice what needs to be done from my friends side,any precaution?

He also is not interested in giving her divorce,can he delay it??Pls advice,urgently required..Thanks

Re:ask for mediation and file RCR

 ask for mediation at womens cell ,do mediation with her and family and her  friends and file RCR immediatly at husbands place
