section 420 ipc

can I sue a person for breach of trust under section 420. As there was a agreement between both of us which was not registered or notarized and was only a basic agreement between us under which he was bound to pay me commission and he didn't pay me what should I do.

It could be that such agreements need not be registered or notarized. Please verify

In law, even oral agreements are enforceable if they can be established.  Even those agreements which are registered or notarized can be breached comfortably by those who can manage.
