We live on ground floor and have covered our balcony with windows since 20 years. we have only covered with windows and no encroachment has been made. we have also been paying extra tax for the covered area. now due to some personal animosity someone has filed our complaint with dda and we have received notice for it. I am a single girl living alone with my mother and the open balcony can be a security threat as well. What points shud i present. I read somewhere that unauthorised construction before 2006 is legal.
can somebody tell me about that. Or if i cover woth sludung windows wud that be okay? please tell
