E Court launched

  The first E court of the country was started its function when it was inaugurated by Chief justice of India on 8 th Sunday February 2009. The fortunate juncture for this pilot scheme is goes to Ahmedabad City Civil and Sessions Court. Its services include on line availability of judgments, cause list etc e-filing of cases, and notice through email .Its services reduce the pending cases. Transparency of information to the litigant public and more accessibility were its advantages.

 The entire proceedings in the justice would be recorded and also available for review in case of doubt. Statements before the courts and the witnesses turn as a living record.  Audio-video recording of proceedings with multipoint video conferencing facilities linking the court room ,central jail , the Police commissioners office and other offices related to judiciary is  helps to reduce the working time .The transit operations of the offenders become easy by this.
