I fully agree with you. This govt.must take steps to help Sr.Citizens. There should be no reduction in interest rates on Small Savings and PPF etc. On the contrary there should be provisions to pay extra interest rates to SC. Rasik Dagli

I fully agree. This government takes taxes during our working life and continue to tax us even after retirement and this money is used to give free facilities to government and semi gov employees and also to Karodpati politicians and their families for life. They eat bread with butter and some crumbs are thrown at us. This is shameful. Why should there be a differentiation. Should all citizens be not treated equally. Answer is simple. People like us are neither law maker nor a vote bank?!

What you wrote is nothing but fact. As I have worked for 33 years in private organisation, it is very difficult to survive. Thinking to take medical treatment without Mediclaim, very difficult. Last year I have paid Rs.13,000as premium for both(age 68/69). And this year my premium is around Rs.23,400. how we can afford this?
