i appreciates u for posting this article. altering the punishment cannot less the no. of crimes..... and there is no use of saying that govt. r any other to do this r that.... the system is wrong.... we the youngsters should fight against this offences and make awarness among the public.... according to me the only way to reduce the rape crime rate is that we the advocate should not appear in the court for the rapist(accused) and the rape r committed by the rapist only because of the black hole in our law system and v escapes him from that black hole thats the only reason for committing of rape continuosly... yeah i accept its our ethics but if we thinks ethics r humanity, humanity should leads......

Government must ensure free and fair trial in order to build up the confidence of people in judiciary. Most of the criminals who are riches and influential are set scot free in the courts.

Instead of advocating capital punishment we should support transparency and accountability in the system. Capital punishment will enhance cases of murder of rape victim after the incidences of rape in order to subvert the evidences.

Dear Vikram Sir what is the mistake of that family where the rapist taken birth. I don't think that any family member would encourage any one to commit any crime specially like rape. When there is no role of the family members then why should they suffer

Your point 3 cannot be accepted. It should be a deterrent. Apart from Capital Punishment the Rapists Family members name should also be flashed in news papers.Education and proper responsibility would play a crucial role in curbing the same.

Capital punishment is a must to reduce or curb the menace. we should take Islamic nations as example in this case. Brutal punishment should be awarded that would act actually creates fear in the minds of the persons who want to commit such a heinous crime

Sorry Sir, Even your views on capital punishment, counselling rapist etc will change when you deal with cases of father raping his daughter. It is time we do something more for the victim rather than the convict.
